The OHPC was founded in 2014 by Darren Woods. It was Darren's passion for the game of hockey that inspired him to establish the OHPC. Through Darren's efforts the U17OHPC boys took place May 13th, 2017. 103 Midget age players from across Ontario participated in hockey portion as well as an OHPC Fitness Combine (see fitness combine). Portions of the events proceeds were donated to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford County.
Ontario Junior and Ontario Midget AAA coaches, scouts and general managers were present and spent a great deal of the day speaking to and getting to know these young players.
The OHPC will host the inaugural OHPC Junior C Showcase August 18th, 19th and 20th at the Nor/Del Arena in Norwich, Ontario.
8 registered Ontario Junior C teams will complete in a round robin format with one team claiming the 2017 OHPC Junior C Showcase Championship.
Registrations are available to Junior C teams on the registration tab.
